A Healthy Balance in life?
Having a balanced, stress-free, debt-free life is not easy these days, on average working more hours than anyone else in Europe! So how do we get that balance in life? Times are changing, we are texting blogging, twittering, and that’s for pleasure! Where’s the down-time? It isn’t happening folks!
But just maybe….just maybe there could be a glimmer of hope…. EXERCISE! I know, I know, but I really believe in “Fitness for every body” it’s my no 1 tag line! Yes I know what you’re thinking, I can’t do that! But you can! Everyone can… It just takes some commitment from you to move forward… Generally most people, who I come across during my work, want to lose fat or build muscle, and that’s good, if that’s your fitness\health goal, but let’s step back a page! If you don’t exercise yet, where do you start? Well you could get a personal fitness trainer to help and support you, or how about looking at your food; most people eat too much and don’t exercise, that is why they are fat. People think they can carry on eating like they did in their twenties – well they can’t..Unless you exercise! One of the first things I do with my clients is get them to start writing a food journal, this can really emphasise where you’re going wrong, most people eat far too many carbohydrates; cakes, biscuits, sweets, pasta, rice, potatoes, if you reduce your intake of these and start walking every day for 15 minutes, I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw some fat loss results, and that’s just the start!
